The back of the shirt pays honor and tribute to those Marines awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor at Iwo Jima. These men distinguished themselves conspicuously by gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of their life above and beyond the call of duty. We must never forget their actions and sacrifices during this 36 day battle, which produced some of the fiercest fighting in the Pacific Campaign of WWII.
